Privacy Policy

A Thousand Dreams (Android & iOS) · by Khun Tech · Effective date: 2 November 2026

A Thousand Dreams ("the app") is a dream dictionary and Thai Government Lottery results app. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The Android and iOS versions work differently, so each is described below.

Summary

Android: advertising (Google AdMob)

The Android app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and general device information (such as model and operating system). Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and some US states), the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice later with "Privacy settings" in the app's menu. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Android: result notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

So that new results can reach your phone as soon as they are published, the Android app registers with Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. This creates a Firebase installation ID and a push token for your device and subscribes it to the general "draw results" topic. These are used only to deliver the results to the app and to show a notification if you have notifications turned on. They are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising. You can turn notifications off in the app or in Android Settings. See the Firebase privacy information.

Camera

The app asks for camera access only so you can scan the code on the front of your lottery ticket. The camera image is processed on your device to read the code and is never saved or sent anywhere. You can turn camera access off at any time in your phone's settings and still type the ticket number by hand.

Internet connection

To show lottery results and dream-card pictures, the app downloads public files from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com, operated by GitHub, Inc.). The Android app also reads the latest results from our results server hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (atd-live.khuneversmile.workers.dev). Like any website, these services may receive technical information such as your IP address when files are downloaded. See the GitHub Privacy Statement and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Data stored on your device

Downloaded results and pictures, the cards you mark with a star and your settings (theme, language, notifications) are kept on your device only. They are removed when you delete the app.

Data security and deletion

All data the app sends or receives travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because we have no accounts, we hold no personal data that could be deleted on request; deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. For data held by Google for ads, use the advertising ID settings described above.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
